“Food for Thought: A Learning & Tasting Event Exploring Talmudic Heroines” Five Towns, Long Island, New York
*Postponed/Being Rescheduled from Wednesday Evening, November 29*

In times of crisis like we are experiencing right now, coming together helps remind us that we are not alone.

We invite you to find strength and inspiration in the community of women, through events like our next Food for Thought: Learning and Tasting Event Exploring Talmudic Heroines, scheduled for the Five Towns, Long Island, on Wednesday, November 29.

As the nourishing food warms our bodies, we will dedicate our learning to the safe return of all of the hostages, the soldiers of the IDF, and all Israelis, to their homes.

PLEASE RSVP NOW TO JOIN US.

Come nourish your mind, body, and spirit, through the stories of Talmudic heroines, paired with vegan recipes, to produce true “food for thought.”

This cookbook highlights 69 female Talmudic figures and delicious plant-based foods.

Attendees will learn with Daphne Lazar Price, Executive Director of the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance — and cookbook contributor — about intriguing Talmudic characters profiled in the book, as well as sample related recipes.

We hope that you can join us for this meaningful communal learning experience. Besorot tovot.
