Sharon Freundel attended Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University and graduated with a BS in Nursing from the University of Maryland. Until recently, she taught Tanach (Bible) and Torah SheBa'al Peh (Rabbinics) and was the Mashgicha Ruchanit (Spiritual Guidance Counselor) of the Upper School at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Jewish Education at the Baltimore Hebrew University and is teaching at the Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School in Baltimore, MD. She also teaches adults in multiple forums, and has lectured in Canada, Australia and throughout the United States. Mrs. Freundel is the Rabbanit of Kesher Israel, the Georgetown Synagogue in Washington DC.
